A new spot we produced produced for Nike Better World with Wieden+Kennedy just went live. "The Making of Making" premiered today, kicking off a new era of innovation and sustainability in product design and manufacturing. In an effort to make its commitment to the environment more transparent, Nike has launched a universal Materials Sustainability Index, a tool to help their designers understand the impact of their work by enabling them to select environmentally better materials. Some companies would work hard to keep this information secret. Nike created an alpha API and hosted a Hack Day to make the NMSI easily accessible to the public.
