About a month ago my friend Tyler Manson asked if I would help him shoot a music video for Zach Rogue (of Rogue Wave's) new project, Release the Sunbird. Inspired by the introspective, folk-rock vibe of the new record we grabbed my bolex, piled in an old beat-up truck and drove up the Northern California coast. The video for "Come Back to Us," which premiered on Spinner, documents our journey to a creek up in Inverness, where Zach and Kate set sail in a handmade boat by San Francisco woodworker Jay Nelson.
